MediaCom launches mentorship program with iMentor to support high-school students to get into college and graduate

iMentor NYC partners with 14 public high schools, including members of the International School Network and schools that focus on STEM education throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, in communities in which most students served, will be first-generation college graduates.

For every student in their high schools, they match a college-educated mentor equipped to guide that young person on their journey to a college graduation. They build mentoring relationships that empower students to navigate high school, succeed in college, and ultimately nurturing young folks to achieve their ambitions as they navigate their careers.

MediaCom currently has more than 30 employees who have begun their three-year commitment as a mentor, advocate, and champion for the student’s success.

Since 1999, iMentor has matched more than 33,000 students with mentors in New York, Chicago, Baltimore & the Bay Area.
