MediaCom made the shortlist for two campaigns at the Festival of Media North America Awards 2020.

Ally’s MONOPOLY® campaign was nominated as the best distribution and amplification of content. The second is Direct Auto’s campaign – ‘Get Direct and Get Going’ for the effectiveness award.

The Ally and MONOPOLY® campaign was part of an ongoing strategy to make useful tools for customers’ lives, helping them improve financial literacy and learning money concepts. Ultimately, Ally wanted to give people the confidence to talk about saving and spending and making investments.

With a focus on second chances, Direct Auto’s new “Get Direct & Get Going” campaign features three celebrity spokespeople who “stumbled” at a high point in their career —however, were able to get going again. This initiative builds on the company’s founding belief that everyone should be able to get the coverage they need, the services they want, and the respect they deserve, regardless of their history.

Festival of Media Awards has been showcasing the best in media and marketing campaigns while upholding and maintaining global industry benchmarks throughout the sector for more than 14 years. The Annual Award ceremony recognizes excellence and celebrates the best media campaigns from around the world, open to all those involved in brand communication including agencies, media owners, brands, ad tech, and communication specialists.
