Sue Unerman recognised in the FT and HERoes Champions of Women in Business 2018 list

The publication of the 2018 FT HERoes lists has revealed that MediaCom UK’s Chief Transformation Officer, Sue Unerman, has been included as part of the Champions of Women in Business 2018 list.

The list celebrates the most inspirational role models on a global scale who have achieved amazing success, not only in their own careers, but also in supporting and elevating others in theirs.

Sue has worked tirelessly for gender equality at MediaCom, including driving gender equality targets for recruitment and promotion and for appointment boards.  In 2016, Sue’s passion for equality led her to co-write “The Glass Wall, success strategies for women at work and businesses that mean business,” a book which is a business best seller, and was named as the year’s most significant addition to the debate on gender diversity at work.

Karen Blackett, WPP Country Manager and MediaCom’s Chairwoman, was also named, with particular mention of a number of schemes that she implemented here at MediiaCom. Highlights include the launch of the Apprenticeship Scheme and Project Blend, her development of Inclusion@MediaCom and her championing of the Women Returners programme.
