Neurodiversity – A talk by Chris Pike

To celebrate World Autism Awareness Week, MediaCom’s disability ERG, Access-Ability, were proud to host a talk from Chris Pike on neurodiversity.

Chris is a leading trainer and speaker on disability and neurodiversity, particularly within the arts, media, and creative sectors. He has trained cast and crew on some of the West End's biggest shows about autism, and delivered disability training to broadcasters, content makers, and media professionals across the industry. As an autistic professional, Chris channels his own experiences to bring his content to life and to teach people more about the importance of neurodiversity in the workplace and in media.

During the session, Chris spoke to attendees from both MediaCom and other GroupM agencies about what neurodiversity is, why better representation of neurodivergent people is important, and how we can make changes - as individuals, within our business and across the industry - to help.

Improving our understanding of neurodiversity is also important within our inclusive planning process - understanding different audiences as a crucial part of planning authentic campaigns

A huge thank you to Chris for such a brilliant and informative talk!
