This year’s awards ceremony was a little different with the winners revealed through a live broadcast.
Despite a change to the usual format (and venue), the 2020 Thinkbox TV Planning Awards delivered another list of exemplary usage of commercial TV from across the industry. The winners in all categories, including the Grand Prix and Special Prizes, were revealed during a one-off live broadcast. In total, MediaCom received three awards at this year’s ceremony; making us the most-awarded agency.
Our awards included:
- Best Use of Sponsorship – Hillarys won for their sponsorship of Homes on 4, Channel 4’s biggest programming strand
- A Special Prize for Best Collaboration – Tesco won for their One TV collaboration last Christmas; a first-ever brand partnership with three major broadcasters (Sky, ITV and Channel 4)
- Highly Commended for Best Use of Content – Lloyds was highly commended for their co-funded financial TV series, Save Well, Spend Better, on Channel 4
