LONDON, UK. Wednesday 18 May 2022 – MediaCom UK is today announcing the appointment of Susana Tsui Fitzpatrick as Chief Growth Officer, leading new business growth for the agency following the successful pitches for Sky’s digital business, Klarna, Shark Ninja and Moda Furnishings’ digital business.
Fitzpatrick boasts over 20 years’ media experience through an array of leadership roles in agency, eCommerce start-ups and publishing; most recently as President of Southeast Asia for Tatler Asia, where she transformed the publishing business and launched eCommerce platforms TheTatlerBar.com and Tatler Unlisted.
Prior to this, she was the CEO of Media for The Parent Inc, Southeast Asia’s largest parenting community, the Regional COO at OgilvyOne, CEO at PHD Asia Pacific and Group CEO at Dentsu China.
Susana has worked on global brands such as IBM, Diageo, LVMH, HSBC, Unilever and Volkswagen. Her experience spans across multiple disciplines, specialising in digital transformation projects.
Fitzpatrick will report directly into Kate Rowlinson, UK CEO at MediaCom and work closely with the new business and marketing teams, executive leadership team and Managing Partner & Head of Business Development, James Hyams.
The appointment comes following MediaCom and Essence’s merger, which will power client growth in the rapidly evolving media landscape. EssenceMediacom will bring together the best of the technology and data-driven DNA at Essence with MediaCom’s scaled multichannel, audience planning and strategic media expertise to create an agency model fit for the future. In the UK, essenceMediacom will have two operating companies in order to protect existing client relationships. Tsui Fitzpatrick will be responsible for creating growth with the agency’s new proposition.
Kate Rowlinson, UK CEO at MediaCom UK said: “We’re seeing good growth at MediaCom already this year and Susana will help to supercharge this. She has a passion for developing talent and winning clients – both of which chime perfectly with our ‘People first, better results’ mantra. Her experience and expertise put us in a great position to continue our successful 2022 and beyond.”
Susana Tsui Fitzpatrick, Chief Growth Officer at MediaCom UK added: “From the get-go, I immediately saw MediaCom’s ambition to continue being a leader in the industry, all the while adding to its arsenal through the introduction of new technology-driven practices, divisions and ways of working that address the challenges in the industry. The merger with Essence is only just the beginning in this new chapter for MediaCom – and I’m excited to be one of the many that will be there to turn the page.”
