Understand how Irish consumers will shop this Black Friday

This year’s research shows that Irish consumers plan to spend more on Black Friday promotions than they have done in previous years. It also shows that over 50% of all consumers plan to make a Black Friday purchase in 2018,  highlights their shopping behaviour in this key sales period and what they are planning to buy.

Black Friday is now firmly established as a key shopping period in its own right, and easily extends beyond the official date itself to being a fortnight of sales promotions.

Black Friday is now in its 8th year, and spans a growing set of diverse categories. However it is starting to show signs of fatigue and wariness from Irish consumers, as growth slows into maturity across this marketplace.
