MediaCom secures 15 awards at Campaign Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year ceremonies

The agency was named Media Agency of the Year in Hong Kong and Singapore and picked up Silver awards for India, Korea, Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The agency also picked up a Silver as Digital Agency of the Year for Indonesia while teams in Vietnam and Thailand picked Bronze awards in the Media Agency category.

Key members of the MediaCom team were also recognised with Nihar Das, Global Account Director (P&G Business) winning Account Person of the Year for Asia Pacific and Archana Ram, Regional Director of Strategy (P&G Business), being named Strategy Brand Planner of the Year across the whole region.

In Greater China Alex Chow, Business Director, was named Account Person of the Year and Irsyad Iryenal, Planning Manager, won the Strategic Brand Planner of the Year title for Indonesia.

Alongside these individual titles the network also picked up the Talent Development Programme of the Year for Asia Pacific lead by Sonia Fernandes, Chief Talent Officer, APAC.

The prizes which were awarded in a series of ceremonies across the region stem from the 26 shortlist nominations the agency received.

Now in its 26th year, the Agency of the Year Awards celebrate the people, the work and the businesses achieving outstanding success in the world’s most exciting and fastest-growing media, marketing and advertising markets. The awards highlight strong leadership, creativity and innovation, new business performance, the development of talent, and contribution to the industry.

This news continues to showcase MediaCom’s impressive performance at regional and global media awards competition. Most recently, MediaCom was crowned Media Network of the Year at Spikes Asia 2019. Globally, MediaCom was named Agency Network of the Year at M&M Global Awards 2019, and also named Media Agency Network of the Year within the 2019 WARC Media Ranking and won 20 awards at the Festival of Media Global Awards in May.
