MediaCom has landed a host of trophies at the 2016 Global Festival of Media Awards, including the most coveted category, Best Communications Strategy.
The Global Festival of Media Awards recognise excellence in media thinking around the world and celebrate the most innovative and effective work.
At the ceremony on 19th May, MediaCom won a total of 11 awards for its work on P&G Ariel, Bepanthen for Bayer, Danske Bank, P&G Head & Shoulders, P&G Brand, Scope and Sky.
The agency was named the Gold winner in four categories: Best Targeted Campaign, Best Launch Campaign, Best Engagement Strategy and the highly coveted Best Communications Strategy. It also picked up trophies for Best Community Development, Best Campaign for Commerce, Utility and Public Service, The Creative Use of Media Award, Best Use of Content and The Effectiveness Award.
MediaCom was the biggest winner amongst the GroupM agencies and was also the most shortlisted agency at the awards, with 35 places – nearly 20% of the total shortlist – with entries from 19 different campaigns across 12 different markets.
