MediaCom expands relationship with Sony

We are delighted to announce that MediaCom has won the majority of Sony’s recent global media consolidation.

MediaCom has been re-appointed globally on Mobile, and expanded its Electronics account worldwide.  In addition to Mobile and Electronics, MediaCom has now added the global Sony PlayStation business to its remit. The recent win is worth a total of $450m and sees MediaCom triple the size of its relationship with Sony.

MediaCom began working with Sony in 2013, winning its Mobile business globally and its Electronics business in Europe. MediaCom’s most recent campaign for Sony was launching the Xperia Z3. The campaign won Best Use of Mobile at the M&M Awards 2015, Best Use of Screens & Audio in a Media Campaign at Dubai Lynx 2015 – and was shortlisted at the Cannes Lions 2015. In September 2015, MediaCom received a Sony Mobile Partner Award in the Indirect and Software category.
