MediaCom Spain lands Agency of the Year

MediaCom Spain has been named Agency of the Year by the country's leading marketing magazine Anuncios.

MediaCom Spain has been named Agency of the Year by the country’s leading marketing magazine Anuncios.

The award was presented to CEO Gerardo Mariñas and his team at a ceremony in Madrid at the end of February.

The award is testament to MediaCom Spain’s strong leadership team and the 245 staff in Madrid and Barcelona which has resulted in a stellar new business performance, winning the Spanish Lottery, Danone, Mars, Etihad, Ryanair, Sony, GSK, Husqvarna and Comillas University in 2014, as well as outstanding testimonials from existing clients.

The award also recognised that the agency “stood out thanks to its positioning around ‘People first, better results’ as well as its public focus on innovation and distinctive messaging.”

“This award is the culmination of four years hard work but the rewards are worth it. With strong support from our network and the EMEA team in particular, MediaCom has become the most salient media brand in the market. Our efforts cannot stop however and we will be working continuously to make MediaCom Spain even better,” said Gerardo Mariñas.
