MediaCom appoints Head of Insights for China

Saw Gin Toh to work alongside the agency's strategic offering

MediaCom China has appointed Saw Gin Toh as Head of Insights for China. Saw Gin will oversee the existing insights team and will work alongside the agency’s strategic offering. She will report directly into Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Director for China, Gordon Domlija.

Starting her career as a strategic planner at JWT Malaysia, Saw Gin has worked with brands such as Unilever, Nestle, GSK, AUDI and VW. Her passion for engaging and creative communications led her to Mindshare Invention with Team Unilever and Pepsico, where she focused on content strategy, development and integrated campaigns – establishing the agency’s inspiration sessions and winning industry awards for Unilever content projects. Her most recent role saw her leading the consumer and business insights team at McDonald’s Malaysia, where she used consumer insight to drive menu development, marketing communication and business planning.

Gordon Domjila said, “Saw Gin has a proven track record in developing engaging ideas and content within a creative environment at both agency and brand. Her unique perspective and insight into how brands connect to consumers through communications means that she will enhance MediaCom’s current insights offering. Saw Gin will work with me to ensure we deliver measurable business results to every MediaCom client.”

Saw Gin Toh’s role is national. She will be based out of Shanghai.
