The Team

Systems Tech (ST) are MediaCom's Data and Technology experts, transforming MediaCom into the agency of the future. We are here to:

· Deliver specialist tech products that drive commercial opportunity.

· Transform data into meaningful information to enable Clients and staff to make informed decisions.

· Implement technology to improve the way MediaCom works.

The Project Manager will serve as a key link between technology and client service, across a number of clients and technology initiatives, including ‘firsts’ within the agency. Examples of Technology initiatives include website builds, application development, process automation, data automation and dashboard development. Examples can be found on the ST website

This role will have a critical part in ensuring consistent and quality outputs across multiple high-profile projects, managing stakeholders within MediaCom and external 3rd party providers, using agile methodologies.

The Role Objective

- Deliver consistently outstanding project management best practice – the ability to scope projects to a high level of detail and accuracy, creating, distributing and managing project plans, managing risk and planning resources

- Deliver best practice on ‘MediaCom first’ technology projects – delivered for the first time within the business, supporting all stakeholders through the process

- Effectively and accurately translate business requirements into technical requirements

- Resource cross-functional skills from across the ST team, wider MediaCom network and 3rd party suppliers

- Build and manage £Multi-million contracts & SLAs, SoWs, RFPs, RFQs.

- Supplier and agency management, sourcing, and cost control

- Apply agile methodologies to deliver on client / project outcomes

- Help establish consistent workflows with internal and external business stakeholders

- Communicate priority/status/intent to all levels of the business, from C-Suite to entry level

- Deliver excellent client communication, removing obstacles for own and team projects

- Proactively manage and maintain positive relationships across diverse client list

- Steer meetings involving internal and external resources, of all functions and levels of seniority

- Serve as key point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, local and remote Engineering teams

- Continually strive for improved outcomes and best practice across ST and within projects

- Work closely with Project Management team, continually improving PMO best practice

Essential Skills & Knowledge

- Familiarity with agile methodologies

- Self-sufficiency – ability to learn quickly with minimal direction

- Creativity – ability to develop concrete requirements from unclear situations

- Critical thinking – the ability to infer and ‘read between the lines’

- A multi tasker – the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality output

- Detail oriented: excellent communication skills and attention to detail

- A proven track record of delivering successful project outcomes


- 5+ years of project management experience required

- Technical or IT project management experience a plus

- Client Management or Client Success experience a plus

- Experience working with Software developers and engineers a plus

Skills and behaviours required in the role

The role requires an advanced understanding of connected systems thinking, digital principles, partnerships, data and analytics for management. A need to appreciate how marketing campaigns work across market and across media.
