MediaCom has announced the appointment of Artur Kobryn as Managing Partner based in its Duesseldorf office.

 

Functioning as Head of International for the agency's German hub, he will continue in his current role of International Client Services Director with support from the expanding international unit in Duesseldorf.

In the new role, Artur will oversee the development of German clients in other markets within the company's network, while also supervising the acquisition of international clients in the domestic market. He will work closely with Nick Lawson, CEO, MediaCom EMEA, Christian Schmalzl, Chief Operations and Investment Director, and Paul Remitz, CEO MediaCom Germany.

Of the appointment, Lawson said "Artur's promotion is testament to his achievements over the last few years. He has excelled as International Client Service Director and developed fantastic experience and knowledge of our clients' businesses. Prior to joining MediaCom as International Client Service Director in September 2007, Artur was General Manager of 24/7 Comms. He started his career as an International Account Manager at Mediaedge:cia in 2001, before becoming International New Business Director of DAVINCI Selectwork in 2004.

MediaCom Germany is currently the largest media agency in the country. Current clients include P&G, Volkswagen, Deutsche Telekom, Coca Cola and Bayer among others.
