
In line with their 'People First' philosophy, MediaCom have
further strengthened their Consumer Insight division, to ensure
that their clients have a real and full understanding of their
target audiences. In addition, they will be rolling out their Real
World Street programme further in 2010 which in the past year alone
has seen four more streets developed in the APAC region including
China, Australia and Singapore under the leadership of Robert Fry.
This brings the current tally of exclusive MediaCom Real World
Streets to eight with an additional eight planned in the next 12
months.
Robert has been promoted to the role of Regional Head of Insight
for APAC in recognition of his management of the APAC Real World
Street rollouts and his work on establishing an Asia Insights
intranet for MediaCom and the introduction of bespoke online
research solutions that work with Asian texts.
Gastón Betoled has also been promoted to the role of Regional
Head of Insight for LatAm. Both have worked for MediaCom for over 4
years and previously were research directors in their region.
Both roles will work closely with Mick Mernagh, MediaCom's
Global Chief Insight officer, with their main responsibilities
being supporting and developing the local MediaCom Insight
departments, both with their current clients and new business
pitches. They will also be involved in the implementation, training
and development of new Insight techniques and tools in the
region.

In December 2009, Lowell Simpson was promoted to Chief Data
Solutions Officer at Mediacom Worldwide based in New York. In this
role Lowell will lead Mediacom's client facing technologies and
applications strategy, development and deployment.
The new Global Data Solutions team will be enhanced by the
promotion of three people, Adrian King who in his role of APAC and
Data Hub Leader will continue to lead our efforts in APAC,
including the management of data hubs in Guangzhou and Manila.
Morgan Priddle will act as Global Project Manager and be based
in London. Morgan's eight years experience of working with major
clients developing bespoke systems will be utilised to provide
unparalleled client service.
Carlos Brito, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan has also been
promoted to Engineering Manager, Global Data Solutions. Carlos'
deep experience within the digital engineering team in the US for
the past two years will be an asset to the development and
enhancement of the technologies we deploy.
