MediaCom Awards

 

We are delighted that our work has been recognised by some of the most prestigious awards bodies around the world. We were awarded Agency Network of the Year at the International M&M Awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and Network of the Year at the Festival of Media Awards in 2010 and 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

From Cannes Lions to the M&M Awards, we extend our gratitude to the clients and MediaCom people who make our success possible.

Here are just a few recent examples of which we are particularly proud...

April 2012 - Festival of Media Awards

MediaCom has been named Network of The Year at the 2012 Global Festival of Media Awards. We won five awards and were highly commended for four other campaigns.

MediaCom Norway's work for the Anti-Racism Centre was also named Campaign of the Year.

September 2011 - M&M Global Awards

MediaCom has been named Media Agency Network of The Year at the 2011 M&M Awards, for the third year running.  This is the first time in the history of the awards that an agency has retained the title for three successive years.

We also picked up 6 awards for individual campaigns for Akzo Nobel, P&G, Dell and Deutsche Telekom and received 4 Highly Commended mentions.

June 2011 - Cannes Lions

MediaCom has picked up five awards across the board at this year's Cannes Lions awards.


MediaCom UK was awarded a Bronze Lion in the Best use of integrated media category for its 'Welcome Home' campaign for T-Mobile, a campaign that was also shortlisted in the Commercial public services incl. healthcare category.

  • Elsewhere, we also picked up two silver and two bronze awards for its work as the accredited media agency in the following categories:
Best Use of Integrated Media (Silver): 'Dated Pillows', Pacific Brands, MediaCom Sydney (with Happy Soldiers)
Other Consumer Products (including Durable Goods) (Silver): 'Dated Pillows', Pacific Brands, MediaCom Sydney (with Happy Soldiers)
Best Use of Print (Bronze): 'Test Drive', Volkswagen, MediaCom Olso (with Try Advertising Agency)
  • Best Use of Special Events and Stunt/Live Advertising (Bronze): 'Welcome Back', T-Mobile, MediaCom London (with Saatchi & Saatchi, London)

 

May 2011 - Festival of Media Awards

 

We picked up awards for:

  • Best Communication/Entertainment Platform for "Hardest Working _______ in America" for the Revlon brand Mitchum (MediaCom US)
  • Best Targeted Campaign for its "When in Rome Campaign" for upmarket food retailer Tiv Taam (MediaCom Israel)
  • We were runner up for Agency Network of the Year, a title we picked up in 2010
  • We had 20 other entries shortlisted at the awards representing teams from the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the Philippines also earning global recognition in this prestigious

 

April 2011 - Password 2011, Estonia

MediaCom Estonia has been named Media Agency of the Year at Password 2011, one of Estonia's most prestigious marketing events


February 2011 - AdNews Agency Awards of the Year, Australia

    • MediaCom Australia has been named Media Agency Network of the Year by AdNews.

    • The network picked up the award of the AdNews Agency Awards of the Year,

    • MediaCom Sydney also won the title of Media Agency of the Year.

  • MediaCom Sweden was named Agency of the Year 2010. This prestigious award is based on the results of a survey among clients.

    December 2010 - Campaign Asia-Pacific Awards

    The Campaign Awards are the most prestigious of the regional awards award, recognising the industry's top achievers

    MediaCom Korea was awarded Media Agency of the Year for the North Asia region

    MediaCom Sydneywent home as Runner Up for Media Agency of the Year for the Australia/New Zealand region

    Both MediaCom Korea and MediaCom Sydney also received a People Award each

    Stefan Burford of MediaCom Australia has won the Media Planner/ Buyer of the Year for the Australia/NZ region

    Jaejin Lee of MediaCom Korea has won the Media Planner/Buyer of the Year for the North Asia region.

  • MediaCom Scotland named Digital Media Buying Agency of the Year

 


September 2010 - M&M Awards

 

  • MediaCom was named M&M Media Agency of the Year and won 5 awards:
  • Best Campaign for Reaching Business & Political Decision Makers for Dell Heroes (MediaCom India)
  • Best International Corporate Branding / CSR Campaign for Shell helps drivers save fuel (MediaCom International)
  • Best International Communication Strategy for Gillette Mach 3: Women Against Lazy Stubble (MediaCom India)
  • The International Targeting Award for Battlefield Bad Company 2 Launch (MediaCom International)
  • In addition, we received 2 Highly Commended mentions: Best International Launch Campaign for Battlefield Bad Company 2 Launch (MediaCom International) and The Effectiveness Award for Downy Vanguard (MediaCom Philippines)

    June 2010 - Cannes Media Lions
  • Bronze Cannes Media Lion, with five additional shortlisted campaigns. We were also credited by creative agencies for 2 Golds and another Bronze
  • MediaCom UK with "Singalong" for T-Mobile - Bronze in "Best use of social media marketing" category, and shortlisted for "Best use of integrated media"
  • MediaCom Germany "Brighten up the World" for Coca-Cola, shortlisted for "Best use of social media marketing"
  • MediaCom India for being shortlisted in "Best use of integrated media" with Gillette, "Best FMCG" with Gillette and "Best Business Products & Services" with Dell

April 2010 - Valencia Festival of Media

  • We won Media Agency Network of the Year and picked up two awards for the following individual campaigns:
  • Best Communications Strategy , T-Mobile Dance, UK
  • Best Targeted Campaign, GSK Teams with Drag Queen to Fight HIV campaign, USA
  • In addition, we received five Highly Commended mentions:

1. Best Consumer Driven Campaign, Gillette Shave India Movement, India

October 2009 - Scottish Advertising Awards

  • MediaCom Edinburgh was awarded Agency of the Year

September 2009 - M&M Awards

  • MediaCom was named M&M Media Agency of the Year and won 2 awards:
  • Best International Corporate Branding/CSR Campaign for Masterfoods, Pedigree Adoption Drive (MediaCom Germany, UK and Austria)
  • Best International Launch Campaign, P&G, Braun BodycruZer, MediaCom International

June 2009 - Cannes Lions

  • MediaCom India won one Gold Lion and one Silver Lion for their highly acclaimed campaign for Gillette, India Votes: To Shave or Not.
  • MediaCom UK was awarded one Silver and one Bronze Lion for their T-Mobile Dance campaign.
  • Two other campaigns, for Pedigree and Whiskas, both from Germany, were short-listed, and MediaCom was credited for an additional five entries that were short-listed this year, four of which won two Silver and two Bronze lions

April 2009 - Valencia Festival of Media

  • MediaCom Interaction in Germany was successful in the Best Consumer Driven/Community Campaign category for their Coca-Cola, Euro2008 Fanpartner Generator campaign
  • MediaCom UK went home with an award in the Best Long-Term Strategy category for their Galaxy Reading campaign
  • The Jury's Creativity Award went to MediaCom Israel for their work on Ha'Poalim Bank, Wedding Direct
  • MediaCom India has won The People's Award, for its work on the "India Shaves" campaign for the Gillette Mach3 launch
