Our main role as econometricians is to support our clients' business. Econometrics not only helps increase the effectiveness of a broad media-mix (which is our main task as a media agency), but it also gives direct support to our clients in the decision-making process when it comes to optimum pricing, effective portfolio management or establishing investments priorities.

So far, throughout my MediaCom career - from assisting Economisers to leading Business Science projects for key MediaCom Warsaw clients - I have had the great opportunity to see how our deliverables improve media planners' everyday work and help rationalise our clients' spendings. This has recently become even more crucial, as today the effectiveness of each single penny counts. And even though every econometric project is a challenge in terms of data availability, strict deadlines and meeting huge expectations - the satisfaction we gain from the smile on our clients' faces is true and priceless.
